Approval of Minutes

Presenter: Steffen Moller

·         There was a motion & a second to approve the minutes as written. Approved.

SEM

Presenter: Bill Zuelke / Diane Drebin

·         Bill presented the final report from the SEM taskforce.

·         A couple of recommendations were made to the CCC administration. #1 Implement a Strategic Enrollment Management Steering Committee. The steering committee would be under the VP of Instruction. #2 Establish an Institutional Research Office utilizing a “knowledge network” model. This would also be under the VP of Instruction.

·         The SEM taskforce recommended that the College community continue to support the recommendations that are already under way.

·         The SEM taskforce also recommends that the College continue to build on the recommendations that have already been completed.

Inclement Weather Procedures

Presenter: Bill Leach

·         In the event of inclement weather, students, faculty, & staff may visit the Clackamas Community College website at www.clackamas.edu , log on to the MyClackamas Portal at https://my.clackamas.edu , or check www.pdxinfo.net to catch up-to-date closure information.

·         There will be a recorded phone message announcing closure information on the College’s main number at 503-657-6958 x 5950.

·         Daytime closures are 7am-4pm. Evening closures are classes beginning at 4pm or later.

·         Late openings are 10am.

·         The determination of closures or late openings will be determined by 5:30am if at all possible.

Campus Use & Development Committee Update

Presenter: Bill Leach

·         Bill gave an update on where the committee is in regards to the smoking cabanas, dog waste disposal stations, and other issues before the committee.

Presenter: Julie Aguilar

·         The giving tree is still up; the gifts are due by December 3rd.

·         The holiday party is December 11th and everyone is welcome.

·         The canned food drive is going on.

·         December 1st is a road clean-up.

Part-Time Faculty

Presenter: Rosemary Teetor

·         The part-time faculty association has given out over $600 in professional development funds this year.

Full-Time Faculty

Presenter: Bill Waters

·         Has been very busy.

Exempt

Presenter: Bill Zuelke

·         The exempt staff were happy to take the lead with the classified appreciation event that was held last Wednesday.
